Cleavers are a valuable herb and are, perhaps, the best available tonic for the lymphatic system. As a lymphatonic with a normalizing and a diuretic effect they can be used for a wide variety of problems, when the lymphatic system is involved. In that way, they are useful for cases of swollen glens (lymphadenitis) in any part of the body and especially tonsilitis. They are indicated for curing cystitis and other conditions of the urinary system that are accompanied by pain. They can be used for treating ulcers and tumors that might be caused by lymphatic throughput.
