Elm Bark is a soothing and nutritious demulcent especially suitable for the sensitive or inflammatory mucous membranes of the Digestive System. It is indicated for gastritis, gastric or duodenal ulcer, enteritis and colitis. In cases of diarrhea it has a demulcent and styptic effect at the same time. Finally, it can be used as food during recovery from illnesses, since it does not tire the stomach and is easily absorbed.
