Oak Bark can be used when we are in need of an effective astringent, such as in cases of diarrhea, dysentery or hemorrhoids. Its infusion can be used for gargles in cases of tonsilitis, pharyngitis and laryngitis. Also, it is used for vaginal washes in cases of Leukorrhea (Normal vaginal discharge is called Leukorrhea).
